We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Restaurant Manager Trainee. This entry-level managerial position is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of experience in the restaurant industry and a passion for developing leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. As a Manager Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to help you grow into a full-time managerial role within our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee the training and development of front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Monitor food quality, customer service, and overall guest experience.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining health and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all local regulations.
- Support management in financial tracking, including labor cost control and budget management.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and ensuring proper security of the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety codes.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role.
- ServSafe certification preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work a 40-hour salaried schedule, with comp time available for any hours worked over 40 hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 40 hours per week at a competitive salary.
- Vacation: One week of paid vacation per calendar year.
