Job Duties:
- Produces food orders in a timely, neat and organized manner according to the specifications of each dish, and the needs of the guest.
- Prep proteins, chop, slice, dice, peel, and portion fruits and vegetables, following portion control, food quality, and safe food handling standards.
- Safely operate and sanitize food slicer.
- Follows approved recipes while ensuring proper cooking techniques and the highest quality standards are upheld.
- Demonstrates an understanding of assisting in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste. Attempts to control food costs; throw away, etc.
- Seeks to provide a memorable experience in all guest interaction opportunities, culminating in the “Best Day Ever” for our guests.
- Identifies store products specific to outlets and takes an active role in quality control of food items.
- Notifies supervisor of any foreseeable concerns or developments.
- Familiar with all product/inventory in freezers and coolers and assists in ensuring that all product/inventory are properly rotated to maintain freshness.
- Ensures that all hand skill techniques involving specific culinary utensils (knives, peeler, etc.) are applied while consistently following documented safety standards.
- Continually demonstrates the ability to keep workstations organized and produces required quantity according to demands of station. Identifies, utilizes and builds knowledge base of specific culinary terms per assigned outlet (i.e. grilling, dicing, etc.).
- Practices ‘clean as you go’ habits, and leaving the workspace clean, organized, and sanitized at the conclusion of the shift.
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Must take PRIDE in the workspace and thrive in a team environment.
- Previous fast casual food production or any type of culinary experience a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, push, pull, stock, and stand.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be safety oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
