We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned after use.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and chefs during busy service times.
- Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and ensure that all items are stored correctly.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices at all times.
- Support catering events by ensuring that all necessary dishware is clean and ready for use.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to help team members as needed.
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices is essential.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
