Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to ensure a tidy dining area.
- Support cooks and other kitchen staff by providing necessary tools and equipment during food preparation.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
