Description
The AR supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable department while performing specific AR functions. To be successful in this role, you’ll be well organized, have excellent time management skills and be able to act and make decisions without significant guidance or direction.
Reports to: Assistant Controller
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts receivable department with four direct reports
- Acquire thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision, including process documentation
- Balance various accounts receivables to the general ledger monthly
- Manage Virtual Terminal program (aka PayTrace)
- Gift Cards - reconcile invoices, and provide customer service
- Assist with promotions at store level including providing instructional guidance
- Script - issue, reconcile and provide customer service
- Stripe and Instacart - reconcile and provide customer service
- Back up for AP vendor set up, AP check printing and AP check folding
- Assist with month end closing and provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain accurate historical records
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Candidates must be 18 years or older
- Complete a pre-employment background check
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures
- Experience with accounting software (NetSuite, Celigo preferred), proficient in Excel and Outlook
- Proficient in data entry and data management (ten key)
- A combination of experience and college education in accounts receivable/general accounting
- Supervisory experience
