What You'll Do:
- Help with day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Greet customers and answer questions with care and expertise
- Making sure prescriptions are right, every time
- Verify the accuracy of patient information
- Receive prescriptions and check their validity
- Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
- Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
- Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned
- Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform additional tasks as needed
