We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory control procedures and ensure the accuracy of inventory data through monitoring and reporting inventory levels, conducting physical inventory checks, and ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of goods. Primary Responsibilities
- Focus on achieving continuous improvement through successful adoption of world-class logistics methodologies
- Utilize inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting
- Conduct routine physical inventory checks and reconcile actual inventory counts with computerized records
- Maintain and update inventory databases and records
- Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
- Provide internal customers with accurate inventory information using RF units
- Assist with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations.
- Follow standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Shipping/Receiving to implement and support initiatives and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Organize financial, SKU, and warehouse and fixed asset inventories
- Oversee and guide inventory team members in the execution of their duties
- Supervise and coach inventory workers during inventory events by ensuring employees are assigned duties based on skill levels, training needs, and requirements; conduct quality control re-checks as necessary
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
- 5 – 7 years of experience in inventory management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead and supervise a team in a respectful and professional manner
- Proficient in inventory tracking software (Epicor a huge plus)
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in basic math
