Main Responsibilities
- Assist in production tasks, such as feed and water management, pit cleaning, mortality disposal, and pest control.
- Collaborate with managers to achieve house goals and maintain efficient operations.
- Filling in for absent coworkers, covering shifts during vacations or when employees quit, potentially requiring overtime.
- Maintain cleanliness of the house, including daily sweeping, routine disinfection, and removing mortality.
- Cleaning chicken cages to ensure a healthy environment for the birds.
- Identifying problem areas and egg jams while walking the facility.
- Minimizing pests in the houses and assisting managers in setting up traps and bait.
- Reporting any issues beyond normal duties to the manager immediately.
