What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Inspector position at Rose Aircraft Services?
Rose Aircraft Services, Inc. was founded in 1964 and continues to operate at the Mena Intermountain Airport in Mena, AR. Our company provides genuine “one stop” service for all avionics maintenance, interior, and exterior refurbishments for Private, Corporate, and Government aircraft.

Are you looking to work as part of a team that strives for excellence? If so, we want to meet you. We are seeking to hire an Aircraft Inspector for our Mena, AR location.
Job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Ensure all tasks assigned are completed in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, Tech data sheets, drawings, maintenance and SRM manuals, IPC to identify and determine parts effectiveness as well as FAA accepted or approved data.
- Performs, preliminary, in-process paint & mechanical, hidden damage, receiving/incoming, and final inspections, as required.
- Performs other required inspections in accordance with Repair Station and Customer requirements.
- Makes decisions regarding airworthiness of articles determining that the work being performed, and the materials being used, conform to the applicable CFRs and approved data.
- Interpret/understand aircraft technical manuals and paint drawings
- Ensures all inspection forms paperwork are complete, legible, and accurate, daily.
- Ensures documentation, timekeeping and other paperwork is properly completed in a timely manner
- Ensure all articles maintained have been appropriately inspected and are approved for return to service meeting the requirements of 14 CFR 43.
- Maintain work area in a neat, clean, and safe condition
- Perform only those tasks for which proper training and qualification has been obtained
- Operation of scissor lifts, forklifts and manlifts for inspections / maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to see and hear clearly
- Ability to read, comprehend and speak English clearly
- Ability to climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions as needed.
- Ability to regularly push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- A&P Mechanic License is Required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre hire and random drug screening.
- Ability to pass a criminal history records check.
- 5 year’s verifiable experience is Required.
