What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Painters/Prep/Detailers position at Rose Aircraft Services?
Rose Aircraft Services, Inc. was founded in 1964 and continues to operate at the Mena Intermountain Airport in Mena, AR. Our company provides genuine “one stop” service for all Avionics, Maintenance, Interior, and Exterior refurbishments for Private, Corporate, and Government aircraft.

Are you looking to work as part of a team that strives for excellence? If so, we want to meet you. We are seeking to hire Aircraft Painters, Paint Prep, and Paint Detailers at our Mena, AR location.
Job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Operate paint spray gun
- Paint aircraft exterior and parts.
- Set up and coordinate processes for painting production parts.
- Operate and maintain all types of preparation and priming equipment
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ensure aircraft interior is protected (PTP)
- Aircraft paint stripping
- Aircraft sanding and grinding
- Chemical etching
- Masking
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Wash/dry/clean aircraft exterior.
- Polish/wax exterior of aircraft.
- Ability to use sanders/grinders/buffers.
- Strong attention to details.
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to see and hear clearly
- Ability to read, comprehend and speak English clearly
- Ability to climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions as needed.
- Ability to regularly push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre hire and random drug screening.
- Ability to pass a criminal history records check.
- 6 months related experience preferred.
