Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting registered nurses and physicians, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment.
Duties
- Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings such as teaching hospitals, clinics, occupational health facilities, and ICU units.
- Provide specialized care for toddlers or individuals with behavioral health needs as required.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Experience in home community care, nursing homes, clinics, or similar healthcare settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when necessary.
