What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry position at Rose Haven Retreat?
We are looking for a full time laundry attendant.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
- Performing minor sewing duties.
- Tracking which items belong to whom.
- Coordinating daily laundry services to ensure direct care staff have clean linen available at all times.
- Cleaning and disinfecting laundry areas as needed, removing trash and keeping floors and walls cleaned.
- You must have reliable transportation and be able to work scheduled weekends.
