Our office is looking for a highly organized and professional individual for the position for Medical Front Desk/Chiropractic Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced chiropractor’s office. The successful candidate will undertake a range of duties including patient check-in and check-out, answering phones and email inquiries, managing medical records, and scheduling appointments.
At least one year of front desk experience in healthcare is required.

The MAIN ROLE OF THIS POSITION will require a candidate that is experienced in patient relations involving patient retention by following up with patients and having the ability to track these patients according to the treatment plan set forth by the doctor.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Maintain and update patient records according to privacy regulations.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage the schedule.
- Verify patient details and insurance information.
- Answer incoming calls, provide information or forward calls to appropriate person.
- Manage and maintain patient schedule.
- File charts and paperwork
- Collect and process payments and prepare patient financial agreements to advise patients on what they owe.
- Create patient statements
- Use MedicFusion EMR system for scheduling and billing purposes.
- Calculate money and patient totals at the end of the day.
- Escort patients to exam rooms.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sanitize exam beds.
- Conduct interviews with patients and obtain medical information such as prescriptions and medical history.
- Take Diagnostic information such as blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, grip test, eye chart, etc.
- Carry out therapeutic modalities as designated by the doctor.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
