What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Boarding and Daycare Professional position at Rose Hill Pet Services?
We are looking to expand our team to include 1-2 new members. Staff here need to be able to work well in a team environment while also being a self starter capable of working independently for extended periods. Prior experience working with dogs is preferred and experience in cleaning and customer service are a plus. A working shift typically only includes 1-2 staff members on site at a time so being proficient at solving problems and communication with peers is key. You wear all the hats in this field- customer service, animal handling, and sanitization included working indoors and out in all weather conditions. Hours and shifts will depend on experience level however weekends and holidays are a must. We are a small business open 7 days a week, 365 days per year so a flexible compassionate team is a must.

As a Pet Boarding and Daycare Professional, you will be essential in providing high-quality care pets. Your skills in animal handling, pet care, and customer service will ensure both the well-being of the animals in our care but also inspire confidence and trust in their loving owners entrusting them into our care.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care for pets in a boarding and daycare environment, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Handle animals as needed, utilizing proper techniques and compassion and confidence to minimize stress
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including kennels, indoor and outdoor play areas and staff common areas to promote a healthy environment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors.
Skills:
- Familiarity with boarding settings preferred
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Experience in cleaning industry a plus

- Comfort in verbal and written communication with peers and community
- Ability to bend and lift (shoveling, carrying or lift supplies or assist large animals)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.25 - $16.00 per hour
