Job Description

Required Skills :
Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role with a focus on application portfolio management business architecture and / or IT strategy (3 Years)Proven experience in app rationalization or business architecture efforts especially in large complex organizations or public sector environments (3 Years)Strong understanding of business processes systems integration and the software development lifecycle (3 Years)An overall knowledge and understanding of application development (3 Years)Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts (3 Years)Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services / products (3 Years)Able to identify best practices and standards for the use of the product (3 Years)Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications (3 Years)Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts (3 Years)Proven experience with a technical specialty across large and complex implementations and systems (3 Years)The Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support app rationalization efforts and business architecture initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across various state departments to analyze optimize and consolidate the portfolio of applications and IT systems. This role will be key to aligning technology with business strategies and ensuring that the state's digital infrastructure is efficient scalable and cost-effective.
Job Responsibilities :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the current application portfolio identifying redundant obsolete or underutilized systemsAnalyze the lifecycle performance and value of existing applications to guide decisions on retirement consolidation replacement or optimizationSupport the development of roadmaps and strategies to streamline the application portfolio ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standardsBusiness Architecture Support :
Assist in the creation and documentation of business architecture models aligning business processes with technology solutionsWork with stakeholders to identify business requirements system dependencies and pain points in current workflowsEnsure that technology solutions and application rationalization efforts align with the overall business architecture frameworkOnly those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.Benefits :
