Job Description

The CMM Technician is responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality of our product meets the customer and industry standards. This is achieved by performing quality inspections, applying quality inspection techniques, and identifying nonconforming hardware. As an CMM Technician, you will be responsible for the daily operation of and providing support to other users within the Quality group.
Responsibilities :
- Program CMM for various inspection tasks of components and assemblies
- Analyze measurement data to identify deviations from specifications
- Perform incoming part inspections, in process inspections, and final inspections
- Manage and perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment
- Manage fixtures and spare parts
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to address quality issues
- Communicate and effectively work within all levels of organization to discuss and help resolve quality issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with Health / Safety / Environmental / and Fire regulations
- Champion a work environment focused on quality, communication, collaboration, integration, and team collaboration
- Maintain cleanliness in the lab and supporting areas in accordance with 5S standards : Sort, set in, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Perform various other duties and projects as assigned
