Job Description
- Only qualified ETL Developer candidates located near the commutable Boston, MA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Required Education :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution (Will also consider three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education)Required Qualifications :
At least 3 years of experience in Informatica IICS ETLExperience with other ETL platforms (SSIS, ODI, CDATA)Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data martsStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scriptingPreferred Qualifications :
Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architectureExperience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured DataGood understanding of Agile software development frameworksClient is seeking an ETL Developer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our partners in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and give technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Process. Key Responsibilities :
Participate in crafting application architecture document to provide work you''re doing in line with architectural requirementsCreate design artifacts and support prototyping through creation of POCsDelivery high quality code work and support peers in quality checks such that design requirements are met. Create documentation for the assigned modulesLead validation activities for the assigned modules for all types of testing e.g., Functional, Integration, System, User Experience etc.Support the creation of “Go Live” plan and lead assigned activities in the planPerform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on appropriate solutionsParticipate in Knowledge Transfer sessions, prepare system appreciation documents and support the transition processConduct impact analysis of issues logged, prioritize and ensure that production support is provided as per committed SLAsLead data integration projectsSupport and mentor other team members to bolster the team’s effectivenessOnly those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.Benefits :
