Job Title: Inspection Technology Engineer
This role is responsible for establishing, managing, and improving inspection systems to support production while ensuring safety, maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and reducing cycle time and downtime. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing data analysis and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) to lead solutions for complex equipment-related problems, focusing on reducing abnormal counts of inspection equipment.
- Monitoring and managing equipment for optimal performance, minimizing expenses, and ensuring safety.
- Creating, analyzing, and presenting reports to identify machine micro-stops, breakdowns, and yield impacts, leading countermeasures for continuous improvement.
- Completing and developing inspection PM work orders, establishing standards, and maintaining calibration and accuracy of inspection machinery.
- Creating and maintaining operational process and equipment manuals related to inspection equipment, including flow diagrams.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of battery production, Machine Vision, and CAD software is preferred. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask are essential.
