Job Description
- Only qualified Logistics Project Professional candidates located near the Sacramento, CA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Education :
High School Diploma or GED at minimumRequired Qualification :
Extensive experience within logistics fieldExperience with optimization transportation routes and minimize transportation costs.Experience with transportation regulationsExperience with improvement of transportation efficiency and overall supply chain performance.Prepare and present regular reports on transportation performance, cost savings, and optimization initiatives.Logistics Project Professional Summary :
Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes and minimize transportation costs.Monitor and analyze transportation utilization to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize capacity.Collaborate with transportation providers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.Utilize logistics IT systems to track and analyze transportation data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and overall supply chain performance.This position is hybrid but if business conditions require it may become 100% on siteOnly those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.Benefits :
