As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily production function within a plant for a production line or specific area for one shift. This includes supporting the achievement of operational KPIs, managing staffing for respective areas, and assessing subordinates' skill sets and development needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the daily production function to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively
- Supporting the achievement of operational KPIs, including safety, quality, delivery, and waste
- Managing staffing for respective areas to meet ongoing production requirements
You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team members, implementing standardized work processes, and conducting performance evaluations. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or equivalent related experience, and 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader position.
