What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Handler position at Rose International?
Description :
- Handling all freight carrier issues to include freight claims, supplier interface and performance tracking
- Knowledge of logistics, packaging, rigging and any other aspect of shipping needed
- Packaging of all equipment, parts and shipments per the documented process and WIs currently in place for this BC
- Setting up LTL or FTL shipments with our core carriers, completing all paperwork, quotes, computer transaction and record keeping of all shipping transactions
- Multi-modal transport experience : Vessel, air and truck Routing guide updating and evaluation
- ECC export compliance coordinator tracking, record keeping / reporting, and other duties as requested
- Defining and documenting current processes that do not have current WIs and putting these in the required format for approval process International Shipping experience for larger shipments than small packages a plus.
