Required Education & Experience
Knowledge ordinarily obtained through a bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field plus a minimum of 2 to 4 years of work experience; or 4 to 6 years of progressive information system experience with 1 to 2 years in a network engineer or equivalent role.
Required Certification : (candidates will be certified in more than one of the following)
Cisco (CCNP, CCIE) or Cisco Meraki, F5, Check Point, Network .

Required Experience :
Extensive hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, MPLS, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, TCP / IP, ATM, T1, 802.11x, etc.
Strong knowledge of network management and analysis tools, including Cisco Prime, NetBrain, and Meraki.
Experience working in a switched and routed environment. Expert Hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting experience.
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, including Cisco and Cisco Meraki.
Expert skilled at installing / configuring, switches, routers, bridges, etc. Extensive Knowledge of Cisco, Check Point, and / or Palo Alto firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other network security measures. Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Extensive Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws, including but not limited to (PII, and PCI). Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
The Network Engineer role is responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house data, voice, video, and wireless network services. This is achieved by implementing and maintaining local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. Participates with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide technical training where required.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborates and leads discussions with technical peers and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
Drives strategic direction relative to the implementation / use of data networking technologies and solutions.
Drives enterprise-level data network strategies and objectives aligning with, enabling, and supporting CLIENT.
Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and associated training for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
Report on connectivity and uptime service level agreements.
Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
Analyze network performance across the organization’s LANs, WLAN, and WAN, and provide remedial steps to address findings.
Ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of company networks.
Monitor system capacity to determine its effect on performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing network demands.
Identify and remedy network performance bottlenecks.
Install and configure all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, UPSs, etc.
Inspect, maintain, and where necessary replace network cabling, voice / data jacks, and other network-related equipment.
Design network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure.
