Skills / Qualifications : - Retail experience.- Experience in functional integration and regression testing on POS systems.- Understanding of POS workflows and integrations.- Experience in website or e-commerce testing particularly focused on order creation and interfacing it downstream.- Understanding of BOPIS (Buy online pick up in store) feature a plus.- Basic knowledge of SQL for backend testing and data validation a plus.- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).- Experience working on projects with multiple teams and resources.- Experience working in an onshore / offshore model.- Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.- Organizational and planning skills.- Strong interpersonal skills.- Ability to collaborate and coordinate.- Proactive participation in team environment.- Strong documentation and communication skills.- Takes pride in delivering quality work to meet the needs of clients and customers.Role : The Test Analyst role will be part of the QA Team. This position is part of a high performing quality assurance team participating in the delivery of quality software.The team works cross functional in an onshore / offshore model to support the testing activities.The position reports administratively to a QA Manager.This role is responsible for test preparation and test execution activities on projects.This role requires oversight from test lead and QA manager and will partner and collaborate with application teams.Responsibilities : - Participates in functional and technical design reviews to ensure understanding of relevant business processes, technologies, and architectures.- Creates or modifies test scenarios and test cases that are in alignment with functional requirements.- Ensures appropriate test data is defined and available in the test environment- Executes and statuses test cases, including proof of testing.- Clearly document defects, and retests fixes in a timely manner in required test management tool.- Effectively communication progress and status to test lead / manager.- Deliver quality work to meet the needs of application teams and business partners- Work in a collaborative project environment with cross-functional teams.- Assists in driving issues to closure.- Complete assignments on time in accordance with the priorities identified by the test lead.
