Certifications and Education:
• Supply Chain or related education is preferred
• Certification in Contracts Management is a plus
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 5-10 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry
• Strong experience in contract negotiation.
• MS Office Suite, Excel, and Oracle (required)
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Experience with EPC contracts (Engineering Procurement Contracting) is a plus
• Experience with Coupa (nice to have)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Contracts Manager with a strong understanding of contract bidding and contract administration and experience with multi-million-dollar contracts, ideally in the energy, construction, or gas industries. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of relevant experience, specifically in construction contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing and negotiating Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and contracts
• Engaging with contractors and handling 1-3 contracts at a time
• Supporting and interfacing with engineering and construction contract teams
• Attending transmission construction sites and engineering offices as required
• Collaborating within a team while also contributing individually
Interview Process: Virtual interview
Travel: Some travel, approximately 50-60 miles within the Minneapolis area for construction meetings at job sites.
