Job Description
***Only qualified Senior Application Programmer candidates located near the Baton Rouge, LA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
• Three (3) years minimum experience as a Project Manager for Software Development projects
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
• Previous experience with Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with ASANA
• Familiarity with Jama and/or Zephyr testing systems
• PMP Certification
• Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
• Provide day-to-day project management support
• Creation of project documentation: daily, weekly, semi-monthly and monthly status reports; project schedules and plans, meeting minutes, risks and issues, other documentation as needed
• Activity and resource planning
• Analyzing project risks and issues, help identify ways to mitigate risks
• Process monitoring
• Monitor project deliverables
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis
• Documentation of specifications and requirements tracking
• Provide day-to-day support for on-going processes
Additional Details: Must be available for onsite work though the primary work location will be Remote.
