What are the responsibilities and job description for the Switchboard Operator position at Rose International?
Office Location :
First Half of Assignment (through April) : San Marcos Medical Center, 360 Rush Drive, San Diego, CA 92078
Second Half of Assignment : San Diego Medical Center, 9455 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92123
Travel Requirements :
Travel : 25% travel.
Employees may be asked to work at different locations to include San Marcos Medical Center or San Diego Medical Center.
If EE is asked to travel to location other than assigned home location mileage will be paid beyond their usual commute.
Travel would be possible 1-2 times per week or if they choose to accept extra shifts.
Job Type :
Onsite Only (No Remote Options)
Expected Shift :
Graves and Swing (2nd and late-night shift)
Required Skills and Experience :
Education : High School Diploma
Minimum 6 months in a call center or as a PBX operator
Top Skills Needed : Ability to multi-task under pressure. Empathy and strong interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities :
Answering and redirecting phone calls / Paging employees and doctors at request of staff / Responding to and initiating hospital emergency code situations
Ability to multi-task under pressure, empathetic, critical thinking ability
Additional Details :
Having a medical or hospital background would be extremely helpful. Training will happen at both San Diego Medical Center and San Marcos Medical Center for approximately 4 weeks.
