Job Description

Job Title : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Oncology

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Valid RN License

Certifications : NRP preferred

Must-Have :

Med / surgical experience
Excellent customer service skills

Job Description :

Work in a unit with 30 beds and approximately 53 staff members

Night shift staffing of 4-6 RNs, depending on the census

RN-to-patient ratio of 1 : 6 for both days and nights

Utilize remote tele equipment and EMR system Meditech

Perform typical procedures such as cholecystectomies, appendectomies, and assist with medical management

Maintain a positive and outgoing attitude with outstanding customer service skills

Demonstrate independence and confidence in skills and judgment

Often work with one other RN or independently with resources available on the floor
