Rose Medical Management is currently hiring for a Health and Safety Medical Technician in New Bedford, MA.
The HSMT provides broad support to the site in the area of Safety, Health and First Aid. The primary objective of the role is to provide regular support to construction site operations in the field. Assist with implementing and monitoring existing client HS&E programs.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of expected HS&E practices and behaviors
- Job Hazard Analysis
- Work-site inspections and audits
- Participate in incident investigations/RCA
- Emergency Procedures and Equipment
- ISO/OSHA Requirements
- Conduct and participate in Safety Talks/Meetings
- Provide triage and first aid care in accordance with CFR 1926.23/50
- Effective communication with Medical Director for treatment
- Initiate BLS/ACLS measures and activation of ERP for higher level of care
Qualifications:
- Previous Safety Professional
- EMT or Paramedic (State or National Registry)
Education/Certification:
- State EMR, EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-P
- OSHA 30 Construction
- Valid CPR/AED certificate
- Valid Driver's License
It’s a Plus If You Have:
- Experience working with OSHA regulations, specifically in 29 CFR 1910, 1904
- Board of Certified Safety Professionals Certification
- Experience working on large-scale construction sites
- Experience with the workers’ compensation claim process
- Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Previous Renewables Construction Experience (Wind)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- NREMT Basic or Paramedic License (Required)
