What you'll be doing

The Asphalt/Concrete Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the asphalt and concrete team in various construction, paving, and roadwork projects. This role ensures the quality, safety, and timely completion of projects, leading a skilled team of workers while also working hands-on when required. The Team Lead plays a critical role in managing materials, ensuring equipment is in proper working condition, and maintaining high safety standards on the job site

• Lead, direct, and motivate a team of asphalt and concrete workers to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Assign daily tasks to team members and monitor work progress to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, troubleshooting issues that arise during the work process.
• Ensure all asphalt and concrete work adheres to industry standards and project specifications.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

What we need from you

• High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in construction, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with asphalt and/or concrete in a construction or paving environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of asphalt and concrete installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
