PARALEGAL
Creditor’s Rights law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal that is ready for a challenge. Previous Creditor’s Rights and/or ProLaw experience is a plus. Excellent opportunities for growth. Paralegals directly support attorneys and may be required to oversee other legal staff such as secretaries. Paralegals are required to have a minimum of 3-5 years legal experience, and should have strong computer, analytical, communication and organizational skills. Paralegal degree or Certification preferred.
Pay: depends on experience
Typical duties include:
- Assisting attorneys in preparing for transactional closings, depositions, hearings, trials, conferences and completing many administrative tasks, including individual cases or transactions
- Investigating the factual evidence of a transaction or case, and preparing exhibits, charts and diagrams to display information
- Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motion, affidavits, subpoenas, routine discovery and transactional documents such as trusts, wills, contracts, real estate leases, and closing documents for attorneys review
- Organizing and tracking files for important transactions or case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents; creating and maintaining a case-management database

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
