What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Rose & Rye?
We’re looking for a hardworking Barback to join our team! As a Barback, you’ll support our bartenders and ensure the bar operates smoothly during service. This is a fast-paced role that’s perfect for someone who thrives in high-energy environments.
Responsibilities:
- Stocking and restocking bar supplies (ice, glassware, garnishes, etc.).
- Cleaning and maintaining the bar area, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
- Assisting bartenders with preparation, such as cutting garnishes and organizing ingredients.
- Collecting and washing used glassware.
- Removing trash and recycling throughout shifts.
- Responding quickly to bartender or team requests.
- Helping with inventory management and restocking at the end of the shift.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
- Previous bar or restaurant experience is a must
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
