IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH DRY WALL, SPACKLINGWOODWORK REPAIR, PAINTING.
BASIC TO ADVANCED ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING. BASIC AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION IS A PLUS!!!
MUST BE A SELF STARTER, REQUIRING MINIMAL SUPERVISION.THIS IS A HANDS-ON POSITION WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL, WILLINGNESS TO TEACH.
HEALTHCARE MAINTENANCE TURNOVER EXPERIENCE, A PLUS.
YOU WILL BE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE MAINTENANCE/HOUSEKEEPING DIRECTOR , YOU WILL ALSO HAVE ONE ASSOCIATE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN TRAINING AND COMPLETING WORK ASSIGNMENTS TOGETHER - DEPARTMENTS WORK TOGETHER - MAINTENANCE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRASH COLLECTION.YOU AND YOUR ASSOCIATE WILL IMPLEMENT A SCHEDULE SO EVERY WEEKEND IS COVERED.

What you will need for this position:
- Oversee and provide daily maintenance for the entire community
- Monitor and evaluate outside contractors.
- Arrange fire drills and maintain safety documentation
- Develop and implement building and equipment preventative maintenance programs.
- Interview and recommend the hiring of new maintenance associates as needed
- Must have general knowledge of all phases of building maintenance, to include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, appliance repair heating cooling, and life safety systems.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years supervisory experience.
- Licensed HVAC Technician preferred, but not required.
