Job Overview
Are you passionate about early childhood education and fostering young minds? We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to co-teach with 3 to 4 other teachers in our multi-age, play-based preschool classroom.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Health & Safety:
- Ability to pass a background clearance.
- Negative TB test required.
- Must be able to pass a physical exam.
About Our Preschool

Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure smooth transitions and maintain order.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Support children with special needs through tailored instructional strategies.
- Ensure child welfare by maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
Skills
- Strong skills in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Experience working with students in a preschool setting or similar educational environments.
