Job Overview
We are looking for a Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of snacks and beverages. The ideal candidate will possess strong math skills, a passion for food preparation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience by ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered promptly. This position will be Friday- Sunday from 10:30 AM- 7:30 PM from June 6th- Sept 14th, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their snack orders efficiently.
- Prepare and serve food items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and provide accurate change to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Comply with food handling safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or bar.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and helping others enjoy their experience at the snack bar.
- Must have bartending and service experience, a valid OLCC and Food Handlers certification.
- MUST BE 21 or older
