Schedule
- Hours - 11:00pm - 7:30am
- Days - Sunday - Thursday
- High school diploma or
- Must qualify as an MHP per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule
- Skilled in behavioral management techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills,
- Ability to quickly establish rapport,
- Computer proficiency required,
- Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record,
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance
- Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
- Work hours prescribed and any additional hours-deemed necessary for the responsibilities Overtime may be required.
- Supervise and manage the behavior of the residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences for mental health and detoxing clients.
- Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
- Provide education and support to clients specific to symptoms management and coping skills.
- Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
- May facilitate focal group discussion sessions on co-occurring issues.
- Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
- Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
- Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional code of conduct and within the framework of the law.
- Facilitate transportation of clients to Rosecrance buildings or hospitals as as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
- Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.
Pay: Based on education, experience and credentials
- Starting Pay:
- $18.43/hr. – HS/GED
- $19.37/hr. - Associates
- $20.25/hr. – Bachelors
- Second shift (majority of hours between 3pm and 11pm): $.25/hr.
- Third shift (majority of hours between 10pm and 7am): $.50/hr.
