Position Purpose: Provide clinical guidance and direction to the Administrator and serve as point person in the absence of the Director. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of mental health treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

- $3,000 for non-licensed
- $4,000 for 1st or 2nd level license

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field.
- Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling
- Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC), or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC or higher which supersedes the CADC
- Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources
- Computer proficiency required.
- Ability to navigate and document in electronic healthcare records required.
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames
- Work hours prescribed by the Administrator and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
- Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members.
- Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with SUPR, DMH, TJC and Medicaid regulations. Complete chart reviews.
- Maintain communications with all staff (e.g. admissions, and discharge plans).
- Oversee day to day clinical issues
- Monitor compliance with productivity and KPI’s
- Present workshops, lectures and training to clients, families, and staff and community groups.
- Identify mental health issues in the substance-abusing population and differentiate between mental illness and substance abuse.
- Act as point person when the Administrator is not available.
- Facilitate team meetings and case reviews.
- Provide supervision to the
- Represent the department in committees and organizational initiatives as determined appropriate by the Administrator.
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and ability to identify adverse effects of medications.
- Be familiar with court proceedings and available to make court appearances on behalf of Rosecrance clients.
- Serve as a member of the Clinical Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.

- Base Pay: Starting at $58,739.20 year (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
