Position Summary The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner conducts comprehensive client assessments and supports the principles of the treatment program. This role also ensures the delivery of nursing services with a focus on continuity, while maintaining the highest ethical, legal, and moral standards. Create and uphold a safe and therapeutic environment in alignments with relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral level program completion from an accredited institution
- Qualification for licensure in Illinois and eligibility for a Controlled Substances Registration Certificate (DEA)
- Strong written communication skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation
- Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, staff or community
- CPR certification, or completion within three months of employment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements
- Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
