Position Summary
In this role, you will participate as a team member in the delivery of behavioral health outpatient treatment services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED and participation in the Peer Recovery Training Program
- Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) is preferred
- Demonstrated deep understanding of the emotional, psychological, and practical aspects of navigating mental health and wellness
- Ability to coordinate and present lectures for clients, parents, and community resources
- Valid Illinois driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements
- Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
Responsibilities
- Work hours prescribed and any additional hours-deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned. Overtime may be
- Provide appropriate behavioral interventions and advocacy for individuals with substance use disorders using trauma-informed practices, including facilitation of support
- Provide support services for individuals receiving harm reduction services, including screening, referral, linkage to care, and warm hand-offs to other service providers (behavioral health treatment, medical care, housing, and other psychosocial services)
- Assist with trainings and distribution of opioid overdose reversal
- Have a thorough understanding of community resources and Rosecrance full array of
- Attend trainings toward CRSS credential
- Participate in harm reduction advisory council meetings as assigned
- Participate in statewide events/summits/trainings/activities that support the education and development of consumer provider
- Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, team meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
- Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional code of conduct and within the framework of the law.

Compensation
- Starting Pay (based on education, experience, and credentials)
- HS/GED - $18 per hour
- Associate’s - $19 per hour
- Bachelor’s - $20 per hour
- Shift differentials
- Second shift: $.25/hr.
- Third shift: $.50/hr.
- Incentives:
- $.50/hr. with CADC certification
