Position Purpose : Provide mental health treatment services for adolescent, children and their families to decrease hospitalization and crisis episodes and to increase community functioning in order for the client to achieve rehabilitative, resiliency and recovery goals. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a member of the outpatient clinical team.
Job Qualifications / Requirements :
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field
- Iowa license of a tLMHC or LMSW required or
- Independently licensed in Iowa as a LISW, LMFT or LMHC (preferred)
- Proficiency in using common computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Skilled in navigating and documenting within electronic healthcare records systems
- Capable of completing required documentation accurately and within established timeframes
- Experienced in providing individual, family, and group counseling
- Collaborative team player with a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
