Position Purpose : The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of Rosecrance. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. The Director of Finance will collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic insights that drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the long-term financial health of the organization. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, leading a team of finance professionals, and managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions. The role collaborates with executive leadership, identifies cost-saving and revenue opportunities, and ensures the long-term financial health of Rosecrance.
Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Business or a related field required
- Possess a valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
- Extensive accounting experience in for-profit and non-profit organizations, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge base of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and accounting procedures and principles
- Demonstrated leadership skills working with and supervising a team
- Ability to achieve departmental goals and drive transformational change
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels and functions of the organization
- Capability to work independently while actively collaborating within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain meticulous attention to detail
- Competence in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and common computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
