What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music and Arts Activity Leader position at Rosedale Union School District?
Under the immediate direction of the Superintendent and/or designee; plan/organize and deliver a variety of music and arts activities; assist in maintaining proper school and classroom environment; supervise students during these activities; and do other related work as required. Qualifications
CPR/First Aid Certification
Experience working with children
College coursework and/or related experience in performing arts
Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of child growth and development
Ability to
Create and implement age-appropriate, engaging visual and performing arts activities
Demonstrate an understanding, patient and receptive attitude toward students of varied age groups
Teach a variety of vocal / instrumental / dramatic / artistic techniques
Teach and motivate children to engage in visual and performing arts
Understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Respect confidential matters; establish and maintain positive, cooperative professional relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Salary : $17 - $26
