The Marketing Sales Liaison is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of field marketing campaigns with the purpose of increasing referrals. Working closely with the administration and operations team, the Marketing Sales Liaison plays a key role in ensuring referral source to patient satisfaction. We leverage ethical marketing practices to create long-lasting relationships built on trust and results that change the face of patient outcomes and care. Ideal candidates should have demonstrated proven success with developing and executing marketing/sales campaigns, excellent customer service and communication skills, and prior healthcare marketing/sales experience; prior physician practice and/or pain management experience a plus.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Increase referral results by developing a sales plan that includes identifying target offices, gaining repetitive access to key decision makers, managing and reporting results, and problem solving to enhance patient and referral source experiences.
- Prepare an effective schedule for a robust coverage of the territory to engage with current and potential referring partners.
- Prepare action plan and schedule to identify specific targets.
- Follow up on all sales leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Serve as a sales liaison between the Company and the referring partners to ensure consistent new patient referral stream and current referring partner satisfaction.
- Identify business expansion opportunities.
- Attend relevant community marketing events to promote the Company’s services to healthcare professionals including physicians, advance practicing providers, healthcare operations and administration.
- Develop speaking opportunities for Physicians in the community and healthcare provider audiences.
- Assist in the development of promotional literature, signage, merchandise, and other brand marketing collateral.
- Provide after-sales services including responding to referral source inquiries and building long-term relationships with clients and healthcare offices.
- Work collaboratively with clinic teams, including Practice Administrators and Operations, to develop customized solutions and accomplish the work required to increase referrals.
- Keep detailed records of all contacts and meeting outcomes, reporting weekly progress to Leadership.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow ups.
- Work constructively with the Company’s leadership team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of experience or training in healthcare marketing and sales.
- One to two years of experience in customer service or other people-oriented fields.
- Be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Proficiency in PC skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Skills to maintain a professional atmosphere and provide quality service.
- Strong communication, negotiation and sales skills.
- Ability to travel in designated areas of East Texas to support clinics in Tyler, Longview, Texarkana and Lufkin.
- Regular, dependable, and reliable attendance.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
