Roselle Park School District Anticipated Openings for September 2025-2026 School Year Certificated Job Posting : Curriculum Director (K-12) Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Curriculum Director to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the K-12 curriculum in our school district. This role is essential in shaping a comprehensive educational experience that promotes student achievement and aligns with state standards, district goals, and 21st-century learning objectives. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to support intervention strategies and meet the diverse needs of all learners. Key Responsibilities : Curriculum Development : Design, implement, and refine K-12 curriculum frameworks that reflect research-based best practices and align with state and national standards. Instructional Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to principals and teachers on instructional strategies, assessment practices, and professional development opportunities. Program Evaluation : Regularly review and analyze student performance data to inform curriculum adjustments and address achievement gaps. Collaboration : Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure alignment between instructional programs and district goals. Professional Development : Plan and implement training programs to support teachers and administrators in effective instructional practices and curriculum delivery. Compliance : Ensure compliance with state and federal educational mandates, policies, and reporting requirements. Resource Management : Oversee the selection and implementation of instructional materials and technology to enhance learning outcomes. Strategic Planning : Lead initiatives to advance equity, inclusion, and innovation within the curriculum and instructional practices. Qualifications : Education : Master's degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field; a Doctorate is preferred. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 education, with at least 3 years in curriculum development, instructional leadership, or a related role. Certification : Must have NJ Standard Certificate for Teacher, and NJ Certificate for Supervisor, Principal or School Administrator. Skills : Strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum standards, assessment practices, and instructional strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in analyzing data to drive instructional decisions. Experience in integrating technology into the curriculum. Commitment to fostering equity and inclusion in education. Preferred Attributes : Demonstrated ability to lead innovative curriculum initiatives. Experience in professional development design and delivery with a focus on MTSS.
