Position Overview:
As a teacher at Roselyn North Academy, you will play a crucial role in the early development of our youngest learners. You will have the opportunity to create enriching experiences that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. From facilitating sensory exploration activities to fostering meaningful interactions, you will contribute to laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive care and supervision to infants aged 6 weeks to 1 year in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Create developmentally appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, language development, and motor skills.
  • Establish positive and responsive relationships with both children and families, fostering a sense of trust and partnership.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in care and curriculum implementation.
  • Communicate regularly with families to share updates on their child's progress and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field -or- CDA/Infant/Toddler Credentials is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
