Position Summary:
The Assessment Coordinator provides operations support for the Office of Institutional Research and serves as the primary unit contact in support of the College of Nursing. The Coordinator serves as part of the Institutional Research Unit and will report to the Director of Institutional Assessment.
Essential Functions:
- Work within the Institutional Research unit to support the unit’s efforts in data collection and management
- Coordinate the collection, organization, and maintenance of assessment data related to student performance, faculty evaluations, program outcomes, and accreditation standards within the College of Nursing.
- Innovate how data is visually provided to students, staff, faculty, administrators and stakeholders for the College of Nursing
- Serve on other College and University committees
- Reliable and timely with the expectation of 40 hours per week
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Masters degree preferred, or a bachelor’s degree with previous experience in programmatic assessment and/or university-level accreditation. Previous experience with health science education is preferred, but not required; data mining and reporting experience desirable
- Experience with SQL or Azure databases and database management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or TOAD
- Experience and knowledge in using data mining and reporting tools including experience using SQL and JSON, as well as building PowerBI dashboards; experience with Python, Microsoft Forms, and MicroSoft Power Automate preferred
- Demonstrated understanding and experience working with diverse populations
- Excellent team building skills
