Position Summary:
Roseman University College of Medicine (RUCOM) is seeking a Medical Simulation Center (MSC) Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality medical simulation programming. Working closely with the Assistant Dean of Medical Simulation, Director of Operations, faculty, and Simulation Operations Specialists (SOS), this role ensures the seamless integration of simulation-based education into the medical curriculum.
The coordinator will oversee key administrative functions, including managing complex schedules, maintaining curricular resources within the Learning Management System (LMS), and ensuring alignment with RUCOM’s educational objectives and accreditation standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to support medical education innovation.
- This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Medical Simulation.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates with faculty and medical simulation leadership to plan, develop, and support curriculum delivery, including syllabi, assessments, and course materials.
- Manages scheduling, reservations, and necessary resources for medical simulation sessions, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Provides administrative support, updates student and course data in LMS and curriculum mapping systems, and generates reports as needed.
- Assists with proctoring assessments, coordinating remediation plans, and tracking student absences in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Supports curriculum coordination, provides cross-coverage for other coordinators, and performs additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with two (2) years of related experience,
- OR Master’s degree in a relevant field with one (1) year of related experience.
