Job Summary
To provide exceptional support to an existing team of Project Personnel.
Responsibilities
- Ensure communications from office to field operations, to ensure project continuity.
- Maintain daily communication with Project Superintendent and requisite Engineer to ensure scope of work is met appropriately.
- Confer with Engineers, Architects, Owners, Contractors, and Subcontractors on changes and adjustments to project scope.
- Create project specific Maintenance Protection and Traffic (MPT) plans for each project site.
- Produce project Submittals for requisite specific approval processes.
- Document and track field measurements for weekly unit price and quantity breakdown.
- Submit monthly payment requisitions to applicable agencies and representatives.
- Develop, maintain and monitor project purchase orders with Accounts Payable (AP).
- Support Estimators to create project quotes; time and material cost and quantities.
- Administer Contractor and Subcontractor agreements.
- Pursue and acquire new project opportunities.
- Recommend enhancements for increased project development and value of bid.
- Maintain accurate data, while upholding the company confidentiality practices.
- Additional tasks as assigned, act as a point of contact as applicable.
Requirements
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiating and diplomacy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
- Applicable experience in Construction Management, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, relevant field of study, or on-the-job experience, required.
- Attention to detail, meticulous and thorough understanding of project scope.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft office suite (word, excel, outlook) and job-related software.
- Ability to learn new software, integrate and tactfully assimilate processes.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections.
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $150,000 (commensurate on experience)
