Oasis Point Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to join our dynamic team!
Job Overview: Responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure and ensuring that all building systems function properly.
This includes:
- HVAC Systems – Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for patient comfort and infection control.
- Electrical Systems – Power supply, backup generators, and emergency lighting.
- Plumbing – Water supply, waste disposal, and medical gas systems.
- Building Maintenance – Structural repairs, painting, and general upkeep.
- Safety & Compliance – Fire safety, emergency preparedness, and compliance with health codes.
- Groundskeeping – Landscaping and exterior maintenance.
Plant Ops plays a critical role in patient and staff safety by ensuring the hospital remains operational and meets regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
a. Ensures that all repairs are completed in a timely manner.
b. Works closely with bio-medical company ensuring the proper maintenance and documentation of equipment and repairs.
c. Works closely with bio-medical company in the inspection and installation of all new equipment.
d. Inspects and maintains tools used to ensure that proper safe guards are intact.
e. Responsible for grounds upkeep, in conjunction with Landscape Company, to include trash removal, exterior finishes, fences and signage.
f. Responsible for plumbing upkeep, in conjunction with Maintenance of Host Facility, to include toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, etc…
g. Responsible for the Hospital oxygen system to include replacing and ordering of new tanks. (If applicable)
h. Understands the relationship between lessor and lessee and seeks proper authorization before any work is performed.
i. Responsible for the Hospital environmental rounds, checking and documenting water temp as well as completing maintenance repairs in timely manner.
j. All other duties as assigned.
