Summary :
Rosen Hotels & Resorts' Hospitality Leader Internship Program is an exclusive opportunity for undergraduate students at Florida State University's Dedman College of Hospitality. This immersive 8-week program, running from May 21st to July 10th, provides hands-on experience in hotel operations or guest contact center operations, offering a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry.
Interns will begin with a structured onboarding experience, including orientation, property tours, and professional development sessions. Over the following seven weeks, they will rotate through different departments, participate in weekly leadership development sessions, and have the chance to shadow areas of interest. Additionally, interns will engage in Human Resources-led activities to foster professional growth. The program concludes with a capstone presentation to a panel of Rosen Hotels & Resorts leaders, where interns will showcase their acquired skills and insights.
This internship is onsite in Orlando, FL, and is managed by the Human Resources department, with a designated project coordinator serving as the primary point of contact for all interns.
Experience / Qualifications
- Must be a current undergraduate student at FSU's Dedman College of Hospitality, pursuing a degree in hospitality or a related field
- Minimum commitment of 32 hours per week (opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week based on schedule and operational needs)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays
- Must be able to relocate to Orlando, FL at their own expense and secure their own housing for the duration of the internship
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
- Must be able to legally work in the USA
