What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter (Level II) position at Rosen Hotels & Resorts?
Summary :
A maintenance carpenter is a skilled tradesperson responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks to maintain, repair, and modify buildings and facilities, including tasks like replacing doors, repairing floors, installing partitions, fixing wall damage, and making necessary modifications to existing structures, all while adhering to safety standards and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities :
- Fixing damaged doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, trim, and other wood components within a building
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform minor repairs to prevent further damage.
- Installing new doors, trim, cabinets, partitions, and other woodwork as needed.
- Accurately measures and cuts wood materials to fit specific requirements.
- Applying paint, stain, or other finishes to completed carpentry projects.
- Setting up and utilizing scaffolding to reach high areas for repairs.
- Diagnosing the cause of carpentry issues and finding appropriate solutions.
- Keeping carpentry tools and equipment in good working order.
- All other duties as assigned.
